Imperfections: Shuts down at the sight of a comrades death

What your character looks like: Altair has short black hair, he wraps his arms in cloth strips even wrapping each individual finger, he wears baggy pearl shorts but tight around his waist. Altair also wears a black short sleeved shirt cut to make it look almost like a V-neck. He also has white eyes hinting that he may have the ability to awaken the byakugan.


Backstory:

Genin: Altair graduated the academy and joined team 12, and was teamed up with Washi Rokujochigusa and Yukako Uchiha, their Jounin supervisor was Cantaro Hyuuga. The three ninja trained a great deal Altair was able to awaken his Byakugan during this time as did his partner Yukako but with the Sharingan.

Chunin: The road to becoming a Chunin was hard but Altair and his 2 comrades made it through to the final stages of the Chunin exam, however Altair had to witness his comrade and friend Washi fall in battle, he died that day and Altair found himself at a loss, he had shut down and stopped training, it wasn’t until Cantaro was in trouble against a rouge ninja that Altair jumped back into his ninja roots that he was able to fight again. Altair went on many missions after that making a pretty good name for himself, each member of Team 12 went their separate ways as each became Jounin and for Cantaro becoming a ANBU.

Jounin: Altair's story has just begun with his new rank as a Jounin and it is about to unfold.

RP Sample: It was now time to continue Altair's training with his Byakugan. Altair began with the training from before, trying to find some of his clans ninja, this task had become easier as time had gone by, at least in a close proximity, as Altair tryed to look farther in the distance things became blurry and it was hard to concentrate. Altair continued to look around seeing how far he could see with his Byakugan. Altair could see out about 1 mile in great detail, by his own estamites. Any further then a mile and his extended sight became blurry and pales out. Altair continued to see past this visual barrier, but for some reason he could not see past it, he began to get pretty frustrated. Soon the man that taught Altair to use the Byakugan properly in the first place had stopped by. "how is your training going?" The teacher asks. Altair replies with a frustrated tone, "I can see out about a mile but no matter what i do i can't see any further!" Altair began pacing about, deep in thought trying to figure out what he is doing wrong. The Teacher smiled, almost chuckled at Altairs' frustration. "Come with me." he said Altair looked at his teacher and then proceeded to follow him. Altair was walking with his teacher, and since he was in a thought process just noticed that he didn't even know his teachers name......"Excuse me, but i dont even know your name come to think about it." Altair stated. His teacher looked at him and smiled again "My name is Cantaro Hyuga" Altair grinned with delight. "So what are we going out here Cantaro Sensei?" Altair asked. "Well i just wanted to talk to you see how things were going, you seemed to need a break so, thought i would kind of force you into one." Cantaro said. "Well Altair im gonna be blunt with you, Do you love your Family?" Cantaro asked quite bluntly. Altair took a pause for a moment as this was out of the blue. "Of course i do, Sensei, but if i may ask, where did that come from?" Altair asked still shocked and confused by his teachers statement. "Well its part of your lessons today Altair, you see ive been thinking about a way to explain the Byakugan to you, that will make it easier to learn, so take a seat on the rock over there and just listen to what i have to say." Altair walked over to the rock his teacher pointed out and sat down. "Ok, now you say you love your family, what does that look like?" Once again Altair was confused. "You look confused Altair, can you see the love for your family in a physical way?" Altair answered no. "and does that mean its not there?" Cantaro asked. "Of course not......" Altair stated as he seemed to realize something, " I think i get what you are trying to say Sensei, just because i can't physically see something does not mean i cant see it! thats amazing! why didn't i think of that before! BYAKUGAN!" Altair activated his ocular jutsu and began to look around it was amazing his mindset had changed and so did the scope of his eyes he could see for miles, and then every persons charka aura came into view that was within Altair's new visual range. "This is amazing Sensei, Thank you so much, i cant believe it was this easy to capture the mindset." Altair said excitedly. "Well this is just the beginning, this level of Byakugan is for scouting/sensory type ninja, the next level is bringing the visual jutsu into focus onto a few opponents or even friendlies so see their chakra in detail and then being able to attack it. but that is for another day, for now, rest so that you can be prepared for the training i have for you tomorrow. Altair nodded his head still in awe by the range of his eyes, it was beautiful in its own way. Altair was ready for the training to now use his eyes for his offensive power! The next day Altair showed up to the training field ready to train, Cantaro Sensei was standing with his own Byakugan activated. "Altair, i am going to show you what i will train you to do but for that to happen i will be attacking you." Altair looked almost worried but nodded his head and prepared for the attack. "This attack takes place in two steps, First is you Byakugan, you must focus on a persons chakra to see their chakra points, which i will teach you to see, then you will have to manipulate your own chakra to be able to penetrate your opponents. This will allow you to manipulate even your opponents chakra to close and become unusable or open then to have them exaust their limits. Sound confusing but this will demonstrate it." Cantaro Sensei attacked Altair and closed the Chakra points in Altair's arms, "Now try and use your Fireball Jutsu. Altair did as his teacher asked but was unable to form chakra where he needed it. Altair looked up at his teacher with flare in his eye, he was ready to learn this new technique.
